Listed below are goals, objectives, and action steps the AFSS Executive Board (EB) has developed for the continued success of the organization.

Goals

• Provide activities that heighten the well being of the AFSS Membership Community
   

• Recognize outstanding Air Force Services accomplishments
   

• Provide valued reasons to join AFSS
   

Objectives

• Provide quality programs and deserved recognition for outstanding individual performance for the Hennessy Traveler Award (HTA) Winners , and the Innkeeper Traveler Award (ITA) Winners
   

• Recognize the LeMay and Eubank awards winners for being the best Air Force large and small Services Squadrons in the Air Force
   

• Recognize the outstanding accomplishments of all our Individual Award Winners identified via the AFSS Awards Program
   

• Award three (3) College Scholarships annually to the members and other individuals identified in the AFSS Scholarship Program
   

• Recognize Air Force Top Graduates from the Services School House with appropriate honors
   

• Sell quality garments and products that identify our AFSS affiliation through marketing strategies developed by our Secretary and Marketing Coordinator using our AFSS Logo
   

• Provide AFSS members professional world-class activities
   

• Hold reunion events every two years at selected sites agreed to by the majority of AFSS membership
   

Action Steps

• Increase funding so that the number of scholarships may be increased from three to five
   

• Pursue endowment investments
   

• Invest in capital campaigns
   

• Encourage individual tax exempt donations
   

• Corporate donations
   

• Develop an aggressive logo memorabilia (Clothing, Caps, Coins, Coffee Mugs) sales program to fund AFSS programs
   

• Publish a AFSS Cookbook - with recipes and Services historical data
   

• Increase Membership
   

• Increase awareness through awards process
   

• Recruit base representatives
   

• Increase information disbursement
   

• Make available links to the AFSS Web
   

• Develop an AFSS Brochure
   

• Release AFSS News Articles and Information to the Services communities worldwide
   

• Retain membership
   

• Develop exit surveys to query input from all AFSS members

AFSS is incorporated in the State of Texas and considered a Nonprofit Corporation, and a Public Charity as defined by the IRS Code Section 501(c) (3).  Our mission objectives and goals are to develop and bring valuable information and benefits to the membership through providing combat support and community services to the membership and those serving in the United States Air Force.  We are not a part of the official Department of Defense or any of its components and have no governmental status.
