Our Mission To Provide Recognition, Information, and Encouragement on the historical significance of Quality of Life Services, Support and Encouragement to the Air Force’s Force Support Squadrons, Manpower, Personnel and Services Worldwide Vision Statement To Raise Morale and Well-Being of all Air Force Services Society (AFSS) Members and to Help Air Force - Force Support Personnel Provide Outstanding Combat Support and Community Services Values · Assist in mentoring airmen in acquiring leadership skills · Integrity first in all commitments · Total customer service dedication before self · Excellence in all we do for the AFSS membership Goals · Provide support activities that heighten the well being of the AFSS Membership Community through College Book Scholarships · Recognize outstanding Air Force’s - Force Support Squadron accomplishments · Continue to recognize and document the historical evolution of our roots, heritage and its value to the overall Air Force Mission · Provide valued reasons to join AFSS through effective marketing strategies Objectives · Provide quality programs and deserved recognition for outstanding individual performance for the Hennessy Traveler Award (HTA) Winners, and the Innkeeper Traveler Award (ITA) Winners · Recognize the LeMay and Eubank awards winners for being the best Air Force large and small Force Support Squadrons in the World · Recognize the outstanding accomplishments of all our Air Force Individual Award Winners identified via the AFSS Awards Program · Award three (3) College Book Scholarships annually to the members and other individuals identified in the AFSS Scholarship program · Recognize Air Force Distinguished Graduates from the Services School House with appropriate honors and one year Memberships in AFSS · Continue to market ourselves as an historical organization reward and recognizing those men & women that continue to serve with creative marketing strategies · Provide AFSS Members world-class activities as desired by the general membership · Hold meeting/reunion events every two years at selected sites agreed to by the majority attending AFSS previous events |

AFSS is incorporated in the State of Texas and considered a Nonprofit Corporation, and a Public Charity as defined by the IRS Code Section 501(c) (3). Our mission objectives and goals are to develop and bring valuable information and benefits to the membership through providing combat support and community services to the membership and those serving in the United States Air Force. We are not a part of the official Department of Defense or any of its components and have no governmental status.
