The Executive Board has a great idea about developing the Air Force Services Society Cookbook as a fundraiser for the organization and our general supporting cost of operations, awards and scholarships to begin with. Anyone interested in this project and wishing to contribute a favorite recipe or two is most welcome. We also ask for other recommendations for a documentary needed to pay tribute to so many fine Air Force Services Team members who have contributed to the history and future of our organization and the Air Force Services initiatives. We have several available sources for building our cookbook and they will do all the final preparation, we just need recipes and a few suggestions for the opening documentary that will honor our past and future. AFSS is incorporated in the State of Texas and considered a Nonprofit Corporation, and a Public Charity as defined by the IRS Code Section 501(c) (3). Our mission objectives and goals are to develop and bring valuable information and benefits to the membership through providing combat support and community services to the membership and those serving in the United States Air Force. We are not a part of the official Department of Defense or any of its components and have no governmental status.
