Dear Membership,
We have asked the membership to send us ideas and recommendations to enhance your website and to date, we haven't received anything. I am not sure what this message sends your Executive Board. We are either doing everything you want or maybe there is a lack of interest in the AFSS Membership. I would like to think we have members who care about what the organization desires to do for the membership, and participate in making a difference. There is enough of the status quo going around today in the Air Force, what we in AFSS need is positive and supportive actions on the parts of the membership with results demonstrating a unison in our mission. We need mentors to get involved who will help recruit new membership and have sent AFSS Brochures out to over 25 different members, leaders in our communities to help build our organization stronger. We need to know what you as members think and more important, what we need to do to rekindle the support drive of our AFSS TEAM. I think we have an AFSS Team who can make things happen, yet I know there are those who will sit on the sidelines and watch others do most of the work in making things happen. We need and I'm asking for your support by your getting involved, tell our story, enlighten the young minds within Air Force Services Air Force Wide as to what we can do with an increase in membership. There is strength in numbers and through this we can set examples, strengthen our capabilities in providing more customer services to our membership, and to the Air Force Services Team overall through our awards programs and recognition of outstanding accomplishments. The attributes of leadership is to lead by and through example and this is what I ask of our membership today. By supporting the organization, we support one another and the long range effects of this are vast, important and contribute in making our mission and goals credible for all to see. Lastly, I ask you to consider what is it that you desire from your organization? What do you think we need? What would bring our society into the reality of helping one another, all of us working together towards an effort to do something for all the Air Force Services personnel Air Force wide?
