- 2009 AFSS Scholarship Program Announced -

Welcome Air Force Services Society members and authorized dependents who are interested in the rewards and benefits of a higher education. Your AFSS Executive Board members are happy to present the AFSS College Scholarship Book Program to you. Those having the foresight to seek the education requirements and building upon their academic strengths towards success in their career have an opportunity and may be awarded $300.00 towards the purchase of some of their textbooks. We have completed the program description, conditions of eligibility, approved the amount of award, prepared the award selection and laid out the procedures for the 2009 scholarship application process. Now those of you who are authorized and elect to participate should pursue your individual goals with haste. Good luck to all who participate!

I got the attached PowerPoint from Darryl and asked him if we could put it up on the AFSS website and he responded with a yes. He will be in Philly this week according to his latest email to me 26 Dec 08. See below his note and mine to him before his final response here.
